Switch2 sponsored Guiseley Rangers ARLFC U8s funding a brand new kit for the team

There is no community heating without community! 

Switch2 are proud to support a variety of grassroots sports teams of all ages, which each play such an important role in bringing communities together. Most recently, Switch2 sponsored Guiseley Rangers ARLFC U8s team, funding a brand new kit for the team. The team have been playing all over the North East of England, including opportunities to play in front of thousands of people before or during the half-time of professional matches.  

Sports teams like this help young people build friends and memories for life, and we are proud that we can play a small part in supporting them.

Grassroots rugby is the key pathway to the professional game and great way for the kids to stay active and make new friends, but is sadly poorly funded centrally with clubs having to be self-sufficient.

Kit costs are expensive and to be able to provide playing gear to the players makes it so much more affordable for parents. The kids absolutely love being together training and the game days, and it affords them the opportunity to play at a wide variety of places, having gone as far away as Doncaster and they have played on a Leeds Rhino’s halftime show in front of 10,000 people! This is a great experience for the kids, and where they build lifelong memories. Without sponsorship grassroots rugby league would not be possible.”
