Monday 16th July |
On Sunday 24th June, Switch2’s very own Paddles of fury team competed in the annual Bradford dragon boat festival in aid of Motor neurone disease association (MNDA). To date, the team have raised an amazing £2198.00 to support this fantastic charity. With a practice session under their belts and feeling confident, Paddles of fury competed in three races across the day, winning their final race and getting a personal best of one minute and 14 seconds. This saw the team finish 14th out of 39 teams, a great achievement for a first attempt.
Team captain Tom Sadeghi said “the whole day was great fun and a brilliant team bonding experience. It saw everyone come together and get excited about a local event. We look forward to competing again next year.”
With spirits high and the sun beaming, the whole day was a great success. To make a donation to MNDA please click here.
